Terri Wardell - Co-Founder Terri Wardell is originally from Portland Oregon where she started and ran the Oregon Chapter of the National Neurofibromatosis Foundation. In 1999 she and her family moved to South Dakota where she became president of the Edgemont Volunteer Fire Department Auxilliary, an EMT, President of Edgemont Volunteer Ambulance service, and worked for the State of South Dakota department of Corrections. She moved with her family to Colorado in 2007 so her youngest of four sons could attend the CO school for the deaf and blind in Colorado Springs. Terri has been interested in the paranormal since she was young. She has had many experiences that have been left unexplained. Her search for answers has lead her to co-found a paranormal investigating group in South Dakota, and then co-found this group. Her continued search for answers to the unexplained and quest for knowledge is an asset to this group. |

Toby Grubbs - Co-Founder Toby Grubbs was born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO. When he was 20 years old he left Colorado to join the Air Force and serve his country. For the next 17 years he traveled the world as an USAF Meteorologist. Toby served in Operations Desert Storm, Southern Watch, Joint Guard, and the Global War on Terror. He was retired in 2007 as a disabled veteran. Toby completed a BS in Occupational Education, an MS in International Relations, and is currently finishing up an MS in Information Technology Management. Toby has had multiple unexplained paranormal experiences throughout his life. His 17 years as a meteorologist and his knowledge of technology are an asset to the field and are the driving force behind his crusade to find explanations of the paranormal using scientific means. This crusade led Toby to co-found Colorado Researchers of Paranormal Science. |

Tim Wardell - Technician Tim Wardell is originally from Tucson, Arizona. He joined the Army reserves at the age of 17. Tim moved out to Portland in 1987 where he met an married Terri. Since then Tim has moved to South Dakota where he became a volunteer firefighter, volunteer EMT, and worked for the department of corrections. He also co-founded a paranormal invetigating group while in South Dakota. Tim and his family moved to Colorado in 2007. He is married, with 4 sons. Tim is our resident skeptic. His abilities to research equipment and solve technical problems has made him an important part of the group. |

Todd McClintic - Investigator / Webmaster Todd McClintic is originally from Greensburg, Indiana. He received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Indiana University in Bloomington. Todd moved out to Colorado Springs in 1997 to work for MCI Telecommunications as a webmaster for a joint project sponsored by British Telecom. Since then Todd has worked for Oracle, Alcatel (now Lucent), Compaq Computer, and Hewlett Packard. Todd now owns and operates his own web design and development company, McClintic Design Inc., in Colorado Springs. He is married, with a 7 year old son. Todd has been interested in the paranormal since he was young. He read books at a very young age about the Amityville Horror as well as other case studies and couldn't seem to find enough information on the subject. His passion for the paranormal and his technical background in computers as well as the internet led him to join the group after offering his services as a webmaster. |

Sarah Akins - Lead Researcher Sarah Akins was born in Oregon, but has lived in Colorado since the age of 10. At 26, Sarah is married with 2 children and a full time college student. Sarah is currently getting her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology, then she will set out for her Masters. Sarah’s dream is to be a counselor for troubled teens. Sarah has access to hundreds of data bases she uses for research for the CORPS team. Research has always been a passion for Sarah, and she loves to research anything from buildings, land, and myths, just to find the truth. Sarah has been interested in the paranormal since the age of 5. Even at such a young age, Sarah had a passion to “find ghosts,” and venture into haunted buildings. Now Sarah can use her research abilities to the fullest to help CORPS better understand the history, and the stories that lie behind the scenes. |
